well i was on wikipedia and i read that the symtoms for mouth cancer are black lumps and a white patch. well i have had two white dots(looks like a tiny white hole) in the past. one on my tounge and one on my lower lip but they both have recovered after time. Now i have noticed a black lump behind my lips that has been there for a month. is this really mouth cancer or is wikipedia wrong?

I know I don't have it but I'm just curious. I quit chewin last year just cuz it got old and I never chewed much just when i played vids or poker but I was a cigarette smoker for 4 years and a dipper but not a hardcore dipper for almost 5 years Im only 25 would there still be a chance I could get mouth cancer? I have good oral hygiene too and when I get canker sores they only last probably a day or 2.

Hello, I looked at the bottom of my gum and on the roof of my mouth and I have white patches I'm 18 and just quit chewing and was wondering if the white patches will go away or will they turn into cancer or something? but does it normally disappear or will it always be with me I only chewed for a couple months!

I am 15 and i have been chewing for about a year, i love it and probably wont quit until the day i die. So what is the real chance of getting mouth cancer, because i have never heard of very many cases of it. it isnt a 50-50 chance. all my family have chewed their whole life and havent had any problems, so sorry but i dont believe that and youre right, i dont care. and its better than smoking, so shut the hell up

I don't understand Cancer I guess. He was a chain smoker, and in an interview he said that he got Mouth cancer from a metal pick he would hold in his lips. Not from the smoking. How do you get cancer from metal? Can someone explain this a little?
